In this post, I am sharing some new drugstore makeup favorites that enhances your beauty and helps you feel radiant at any age.

You've heard me say how important finding a good foundation is, and I have a couple that I've been using lately that I really love. The Maybelline Lumi Matte Foundation is one of those that goes on so well and delivers buildable full coverage that lasts all day. It's infused with amino acids and delivers a matte finish with a just a hint of luminosity. Another foundation that I have love using lately is the Maybelline Lifter Stix. This is a great option for travel or on-the-go touch ups because it's a stick. This gives a light, natural coverage and blends like a dream.

I found some fantastic products for taming stray mature brows before filling them in. I've found that putting my brows in place and setting them helps me see exactly where I need to fill them in, so I like to do that first. I have tried a ton of different brow glues. and these three have become favorites. The CoverGirl Clean Fresh Brow Gel is a clear brow gel wax and it does a great job at taming and setting my brows. It's sets in a few minutes and is waterproof with all-day hold. I also really like the Loreal 24 Hr Brow Lamination, This brow gel is also sweat and water-resistant, and wears all day with no sticky texture or residue left behind. The NYX Brow Glue is another one I would recommend, It can tint and thicken all types of eyebrows leaving a natural finish that lasts all day. It's ultra-buildable, vegan tinted brow mascara that's available in 5 inclusive shades. (Side note: the tinted options are not my favorite. They can be super messy.)

After I set my eyebrows and they dry, then I can fill in the sparse areas. I find an eyebrow pen creates thinner more natural looking hairlike strokes than a pencil and I really love the NYX Lift & Snatch Eyebrow Tint Pen. It has a flexible micro brush tip pen allows you to create thin to thick lines and the tinted, buildable shades give you a super natural look. If you prefer a pencil, the NYX MicroBrow Pencil is a good one to use. The ultra-slim retractable pencil tip draws extra fine lines so you can create the look of natural brow hairs. It also comes in a wide range of 12 inclusive, vegan & waterproof shades to complement and enhance your natural brow color.

Mascara is key to opening up the eyes and I've found a few that I've been loving. The Milani Highly Rated Lash Extensions Tubing Mascara, been my favorite for awhile. It goes on clump-free and always makes my lashes look great. If you don't like a tubing mascara, I just tried the Loreal Lash Paradise Big Deal Mascara, and I really liked it! The volume and length formula creates clump resistant lashes, no matter how much you layer, and leaves your lashes looking amazing.

I also wanted to share a new lip oil that I am loving. The Loreal Plump Ambition Lip Oil is infused with Hyaluronic Acid & Tripeptides for instantly smoother, plumper-looking lips. (Look for the color "Worth It". Trust me) It leaves the prettiest glass-like shine, is super moisturizing and doesn't leave your lips sticky at all. I love adding the Elf Glow Reviver Glimmer Lip Oil for a bit of extra shine on top. The non-sticky, hydrating formula keeps your lips feeling soft and looking effortlessly radiant all day long.

Navigating drugstore makeup for mature skin can be an enjoyable journey. With options like hydrating foundations, creamy blushes, and flattering lip colors, there are products that enhance your beauty while addressing the specific needs of older skin.

Hope this is helpful. Feel free to leave any questions below in the comments. As always, I'd love for you to share this with another mature friend.

God Bless,

Dawn
