We can all agree we want our makeup to give us a youthful appearance. Making this one simple change does just that!
Here is what you need to do. Of course, start your makeup application on clean, moisturized skin, then apply sunscreen and let it all set up for a few mintures. Apply primer and foundation as you normally would.
In the video here, I used the L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear foundation (my color Is 415). It's a lightweight medium to full coverage foundation that looks great on all skin types. After foundation, I apply color corrector under my eyes. The Sigma Color Correcting Duo is definitely a favorite of mine, because I love that you can mix the two shades together to get the perfect color to correct redness and dark circles. It has the creamiest consistency.
This is where I switch things up. Instead of going in with concealer next, apply blush. Preferably a cream blush. I know, it's different, but stick with me here. Apply blush high on the cheek, close to the under eye area. Concealer can be difficult to make it look good as we get older. When I apply the cream blush before the concealer, it gives my skin the most beautiful and youthful appearance and applying my concealer is so much easier. You may even use less concealer by applying it after blush.
For my blush (in this video), I used the Blush Affair Cream and Powder Pallet by Catrice, which is a cream and a powder blush in one case. I applied the cream blush from the pupils of my eye, up and out, with a little on the bridge of my nose as well. After cream blush, go ahead and apply concealer. I love this concealer. It's lightweight, goes on like a dream and doesn't settle into fine lines. After concealer, see if you need to set your cream blush with powder blush.
